The Organic Meva
Our Story

The Organic Meva revolution began when Saumya was a teenager and her mother, Mrs. Kachwaha, urged her to stop consuming junk and packaged foods like cookies, chocolates, and other snacks that contain preservatives, trans fats, and processed sugars—ingredients that taste delicious but aren't healthy. Saumya challenged her mother to create a snack that was both nutritious and tasty, promising to stop eating outside if successful. Mrs. Kachwaha accepted the challenge and crafted laddoos using wholesome ingredients. To Saumya's delight, the laddoos were a hit, free from processed sugars and preservatives, promoting gut health and overall well-being.

Meanwhile, 400 kilometers away, Saumya's future husband, Himanshu, experienced a similar situation with his mother, Mrs. Bhadoria, creating healthy laddoos. Fate united Saumya and Himanshu through their shared commitment to health-conscious eating. When their mothers met and discussed the prevalence of unhealthy snacks, they lamented why companies prioritize selling such products when they know youngsters indulge in them. Both mothers expressed a desire to promote healthier eating choices through their culinary skills.

Inspired by their mothers' dedication and understanding the grave issues surrounding unhealthy snacks, Saumya and Himanshu decided to give back to society. Together, they founded The Organic Meva, urging their mothers to collaborate and enhance their laddoo recipes. The partnership proved transformative as the taste and appeal of the laddoos improved significantly.

Saumya embarked on research and development to transform homemade laddoos into market-ready products—a daunting task requiring strategic planning and extensive culinary expertise from both mothers. Quality and guilt-free snacking remained their top priority, leading to rigorous lab testing and product profiling for each item. Despite challenges in market research and product placement, they remained determined, guided by their mothers' blessings and a mission to promote healthy eating habits across India.
